Haeparang Trail with the rising sun and the blue sea of the East Sea as its backdrop

The path of contemplation where you walk with the sun—together with the sun and sea as friends

‘Haeparang Trail’ is a 750km walking tour consisting of a total of 50 routes built from the Oryukdo Sunrise Park in Busan to the Unification Observatory in Goseong, Gangwon, along the East Coast’s beach, forest, and village roads. The name “Haeparang Trail” is a combination of “rising sun,” the symbol of the East Sea, “parang” (blue), the color of the blue sea, and “rang,” a particle that means “together with.” Altogether, it means “a trail where you walk along with the sound of the waves while looking at the rising sun and the blue sea.”
