It is a sign that supplements the direction guidance, and helps you to recognize that it is Namparang Trail on a forest road.

Ribbon Guidance System
Namparang Trail ribbons are attached to trees in forest trails to guide the way. They are used to replace facility information boards, and guides are provided on a forward-direction basis, with blue and orange colors paired together.
